ROLE-BASED ACCESS NOTE: The features and functionality described in this article require the assignment of either the Admin, Manager, Accountant or DevOps user role to your user account. Without any of these roles assigned, some or all of the functionality may not be available to you.
Once you have set up your users and their appropriate roles, you are going to want to configure your alerts and email notification for each role. This can range from how frequently they want to receive cost report emails, when they want to be alerted, and what event would trigger a notification. The screenshot below details the full list of notification options.
If you want a more detailed breakdown of the alert options, feel free to read our detailed help article.
Things to Note
Remember if a user has been assigned multiple roles, they will get email notifications from both roles' alert settings. However, Aimably will not send multiple versions of the same email. For example, if both the Admin role and the Manager role have "Receive daily cost report email" checked and a user has both roles assigned, they will only receive the daily cost report email once. You can refer to our guide on Users, Roles and Permissions for more information on each particular role.
