In Aimably, company administrators cannot create or update users' passwords. A user can change their password from within the Aimably application or at the sign-in screen. If you need to revoke a user's access to Aimably, please consult the Revoking User Access guide. Read below for two methods a user can take to reset their password with Aimably.
Updating A Known Password in Aimably
Changing your password in Aimably requires knowing your current password. To start, click on the User Menu in the upper right corner of your screen:
Once the menu is open, select the Change Password option:
Next, enter your current password, then enter your new password twice and click the 'Update Password' button.
Resetting a Forgotten Password on Login
If you do not know your current password, you can request it from the sign-in screen found at app.aimably.com/ccount/Login
Once you have reached the sign-in screen, click on the 'here' link after the text that asks you if you can't remember your password.
Clicking the link will take you to a screen where you are prompted to enter your email address. Once you have done this, click the 'Reset Password' button
Once you have clicked the button, wait a few moments, then navigate to your email client and find the email sent by Aimably with the subject line: "Your Requested Password Reset" sent by admin@aimably.com.
Didn't receive an email? It's possible that there's an issue with your email address. Please refer to the Users Are Not Receiving Emails from Aimably troubleshooting guide to resolve the issue.
If you did receive the email, open it, then click the 'Reset Your Password' button.
This will open a browser window. Please fill in a new password twice to complete the reset process, then click the 'Update Password' button.
When the password has been reset successfully, you will be presented with a confirmation message. Click on the link to take you back to the sign-in screen where you may use your newly reset password.
